Mega Trends for the cities of the future

A Future Technology Provider Platform to Enhance the Longevity, Health and Wellbeing.

The vision of our future technology platform is to promote a sustainable and vibrant ecosystem of integrated macro and micro services that intensifies the collaboration across the built environment.
The goal of this platform aims to support a new way of living for the future society, considering the whole chain from personalized healthcare to entire buildings, cities and communities.
For example,we will provide the technology to support the healthy elderly to live active lives at home instead of care homes and visit the hospital only for short interventions. This will prolong the productivity of the European public. To achieve this, the use of advanced information and communication technologies, sensor systems, medical wearables, contactless sensing, robotic building-furniture and construction robotics would be incorporated.
We believe in the importance of taking society instead of technology as the starting point. Only when we start from a societal vision, technologies will be developed to maximize values and applications, ensuring economic viability. This creates an ultimate win-win situation.

Adaptive Reconfigurable Robotic Infrastructure Systems

A novel robotic approach to hybrid, dynamic, and integrated infrastructure systems planning (self-evolution), construction (self-reproduction), and optimization (self-optimization) is a key backbone for future habitat, settlements and cities.

The failure to mitigate and adapt to climate change will inevitably have a significant negative impact on the living conditions on our planet. This will manifest itself among other things in overpopulation, accelerated desertification and rising sea levels, which will affect at least 570 cities and 800 million people by 2050. Therefore, the United Nations Human Settlements Program identified sustainable floating cities as a solution to these threats.
Furthermore, catastrophic events such as the current COVID-19 pandemic force us to rethink conventional labor-intensive settlement construction and create novel possibilities for habitat revolution in order to make cities and habitants more resilient and autonomous.

We believe in the importance of taking society instead of technology as the starting point.
